The seven teachers below were among those
who shaped our lives. Steve, Fritz, Ted, and Ernest were guests of honor at
our 50th Reunion. Lou Connick and Phil Maroney were guests of honor at our
40th Reunion. We attended Bert Linton's memorial service during our 50th

Fritz and Ted are shown below (upper right and lower right,
respectively) in a photo from the Penn Charter Magazine of Fall 2009. Rice
University President David Leebron OPC '73 (at left in the photo) received
the Alumni Award of Merit on Alumni Weekend, and spoke at the Cum Laude
Society induction. He said "I owe this school more than I owe my college and
my law school. After my parents, I owe not only who I am but who I want to
be to this school." (For the record, Leebron's college and law school were
both Harvard. He was elected President of the Law Review in his second year
at the law school. Also for the record, the fourth person in the photo is
Jake Roak.)
