[Write-up and photo from 2000]

After P.C., Duke was a fabulous 4 years with modest careers in athletics (baseball and basketball) and academics (C average). After 6 months in the Army Reserves active duty, '65 - '62 was spent in New York with two major corporations in the medical supply business AND two major corporations in the textile industry. All my positions were sales, marketing, and management.

In 1972, I returned to my roots in Abington PA following my father's passing, and bought the business (from partners) that my father had founded in 1930. It was mining sand and gravel for consumption in the construction industry, and shortly moved into marine transportation, dredging, landscaping/nursery supply, and real-estate sales through reclamation.

I am divorced, no children, and am currently spending half of each year in Jupiter FL and the other half in Abington.
